In his own words: 'My focus includes vegetation, wood-based structures, communal spaces, and public transportation infrastructure. After exploring algae farms, I started exploring other sustainable food systems, emphasizing urban farming.'

Located in a residential area of Upton Park, the development was designed by Levitt Berstein for the London Borough of Newham and contains 65 affordable homes as well as an on-site nursery.

The building will incorporate on-site energy systems such as geothermal loops and solar panels, and green roofs planted with native vegetation to help reduce the building’s environmental impact.

By 2025, more than 50 local governments worldwide have integrated Doughnut Economics into their policies and decision-making processes.
